Jersey Registry (JFSC)
The Jersey Financial Services Commission's registry, covering companies, business names, foundations, trademarks and security interests.
Basic entity search is free and needs no account. Certified extracts require a portal account and a fee.
Search by name, registered number or previous name. Previous-name search is the useful one and is easy to miss: Jersey entities are renamed often enough that a current-name-only search will quietly fail on older material.
The registry covers considerably more than companies. Foundations, business names and security interests are all here, which makes it worth checking even when a company search comes back empty.
